This result is an indication that silver thin film sputtered at 350 Wcan be used as an active electrode to process a supercapacitor. Furthermore, applications that require fast energy recovery time namely memory protection circuits, flashlight circuits, needs a supercapacitor to perform this operation.
This implies that the capacitance associated with silver thin films electrodes is pseudocapacitive in nature. The higher peak current from Ag 350 W can also be linked to the polarization resistance of the Ag 350 W been less resistant to electron charge transfer, thereby improving its pseudocapacitance performance.
