It is only 30 gauge wire so it can only handle very low current applications. I replace these leads with a new 22 gauge wire lead and a new heat shrink sleeve. The ideal storage voltage is the cells nominal voltage: generally3,6 - 3,7V. For a 16X (20 cells in série) that makes 3,7x20=74V. 4 - For a healthy battery there is enough margin from the constructor not to be an issue dipping down there, just don't force your luck or store it that way.
Battery only charges to some 7x to 8x%. Here most likely one cell group is completely dead and will show ~0V if one opens the pack. It can not be charged anymore and has an increased change for fire hazards. Do not use this pack anymore - replace it!
How long it will take to charge AA 700mAh 4.8V battery pack using a DC4.8V 250mA charger. One of my friend told me that it will take aprox 700/250=2.8 hours to charge. Is he correct? See attached image for my battery pack and charger. If the charger is regulated at 4.8V then it will never fully-charge that pack.

NiMH cells are around 1.35 - 1.4V fully charged so the charger would have to be capable of outputting at least 5.6V @ 250mA But if it does then it will take around 3.5 hours to charge a dead 700mAh pack.
Especially the Sherman seem to have no 100% range - so with charger and measurement inaccuracy it is seldom to get a sherman to 100%! The best way to confirm health of a battery pack is tomonitor current flow during the end of the recharging cycle.
