To connect a battery to a fuse box, run a red cable from the battery switch to the fuse box and attach one end to the largest terminal on the fuse box's positive busbar. Cut the cable to size and install wire terminals on each end. Attach the other end to the output terminal of the battery switch. Also, run a black cable from the battery to the fuse box and attach one end to the negative busbar.
To connect a boat battery to a fuse box, run a black cable from the battery to the fuse box and attach one end to the negative terminal on the battery and the other to the largest terminal on the fuse box's negative busbar. This is the standard procedure for connecting a battery to a fuse box.
For connection to the Maxi blade fuses the box comes complete with 4x two-way connector blocks, 8x fuse crimp terminals (4.0-6.0mm²cable) and 4x terminal locking tabs (yellow). Sold individually. Fuses not included.
