However, their ability to replace lead acid AGM batteries depends on the specific situation and not solely on the battery type. The poor reviews of some lithium battery brands' customer service should be taken into consideration.
There are two types of lead acid batteries that can be used. A flooded lead-acid battery should not be used in a camper. These batteries do not hold up well to excessive shaking and cannot handle extreme temperatures very well.
One significant advantage of choosing a lithium battery for an RV over a lead-acid battery is its battery management system (BMS). In simple terms, it is the charge regulatory system of a lithium battery that maintains equal charge throughout the cells of the battery and prevents overcharging of the battery.
