Free QuoteUnderstanding Lead Acid and Lithium-Ion Batteries. To get started, let''s briefly look at how these two types of batteries differ. Lead Acid Batteries have been around for
Free QuoteAfter reading up on an article on this matter, it seems that the only way to fix this issue is to completely discharge the battery. Now since lead-acids do not want to discharge completely (80% is the rated limit before damage is done to the battery), there is no "safe" way to get rid of the reverse polarity effect on the batteryOne thing you could do, but this would
Free QuoteIn lead acid battery vs lithium ion the cost of the lead acid battery is lower when it comes to lithium ion batteries. However, from a long-term perspective, since the cycle life of lithium-ion
Free Quotelead acid batteries retain their best shelf life when kept trickle charged as opposed to most lithium batteries which do not like being fully charged for a prolonged period of time. You have to keep them at a lower SoC if you want them to retain their capacity over time, which means you''ll need a bigger one and then add even more to the cost.

Free QuoteThe most common mistake when converting from lead-acid to lithium-ion batteries is not preparing operators for the change in routine. Put simply: charging the forklift is easy; remembering to do it is the hard part. With lead-acid batteries,
Free QuoteCan I swap out my 4 lead acid 12V batteries with 4 new lithium batteries? I do know that you can purchase a 48V lithium battery but I have heard that you need a converter kit. I''m trying to make it as easy as possible by just swapping out 4 - 12V lead with 4 - 12V lithium''s and using the same charging port and charger.
Free QuoteLi-ion batteries can be charged indoors. The batteries are smaller in size and their operational range is higher than lead-acid batteries. Li-ion batteries increase the life cycle and have no memory effect. They are also lightweight compared to
Free QuoteWhat is battery swapping? Battery swapping is a technology that allows battery-powered vehicles to switch a depleted battery with a fully charged one in a matter of
Free QuoteAs a battery manufacturer, I need to say that the AGM battery is one kind of lead-acid battery. Normally AGM battery is referred to as be sealed maintenance-free battery. Obviously, an AGM battery will require less maintenance than a flooded battery, aka a water battery.
Free QuoteHowever, when we replaced the conventional lead-acid batteries with AL100 Sterling Lithium batteries, we can access 100% of the battery''s capacity, so doubling the actual, usable power
Free QuoteAlready covered by others but lead acid batteries make total sense in the right application and if you choose the right lead acid battery. The right kind can be deep cycled and can sustain 1000s of charge/discharge cycles. Almost every

Free QuoteLead-acid batteries are prone to a phenomenon called sulfation, which occurs when the lead plates in the battery react with the sulfuric acid electrolyte to form lead sulfate (PbSO4). Over time, these lead sulfate crystals can build up on the plates, reducing the battery''s capacity and eventually rendering it unusable.
Free QuoteLithium batteries provide consistent power delivery throughout the discharge cycle, while lead acid batteries tend to have a diminishing power delivery as the cycle progresses. This increased power output allows lithium
