For all other cars – originally with 40, 60, 70, 75, and 85 kWh – the 90 kWh battery pack would be a good replacement solution. Tesla used to sell new units for $20,000 to $23,000, but Gruber said prices were adjusted and that you can now buy a 90 kWh battery pack for $14,000. The installation will cost you $2,000 more.
An 85 kWh battery pack weighs 1,200 lb (540 kg). It contains 7,104 Lithium-ion battery cells in 16 modules wired in series (14 in the flat section and two stacked on the front).
A 10kWh Battery Pack is a backup power solution that can provide emergency power to various facilities such as cell towers, emergency communication centers, and office spaces. It can be directly tied into breakers for malls, refrigeration systems, and security monitors. During power outages, it can be remotely controlled to act as a backup system.
Maximum range from either 40 kWh or 60 kWh battery packs is predicted to be up to 200 miles. Compared to other street-legal EVs, that's low.
